To be more efficient, Nutristar International specialises its production sites by product range. All the sites can answer to customer’s expectations in the search for the best solution.

Premix manufacturing plant

This plant is located in Janzé, in Brittany France,  the hart of French animal productions. 70 per cent of animal productions are located in this area called Bretagne-Normandie-Pays de Loire.

Built in 1994, this manufacturing unit is still one of the most modern in Europe for premix production, with over 35000 tons in 2011.

This advanced equipment supplies the best level of industrial performance. It insures a production of quality, secured, and a permanent traceability at every level.

We have two sites abroad that use our concentrates : Romania and Algeria.

Quality

Each raw material delivered on the site is controlled according to a rigourous quality control plan defined in HACCP, GMP and ISO9001 procedures.

Manufacturing process and machines are controlled every six months to prevent any variations in terms of dosing, weighing and mixing.

Finished products are also analysed according to a control plan described in above mentioned certifications.

Security

Automatism in the plant is complete and include raw materials identification with bar codes and specific keys for silos’ filling.

Weighing is regularly performed during the manufacturing process to control no product loss and prevent any cross contamination.

Traceability

Each component of each premix is identified to be traced in the finished product (supplier, batch number, etc.)

Samples of each batch are taken according to the control plan, and preserved for two years in a sample room.

Starter and prestarter manufacturing unit

It is located nearby the premix plant. It deals with particular raw materials with a high level of digestibility, and high nutritional values.

Units for minerals and blocks

They are located in the West of France as well, and function according the same procedures as above described.

Nutritional products manufacturing unit

It is located in the West of France as well, beside one of the biggest centre of research and development for human nutrition and animal pathologies. It benefits from performing equipment and respects processes as per GMP or Fami QS specifications.
