Starter feed

Nutristar International created and adjusted a range of prestarter and starter feeds thanks to its experimental farm equipped with digestibility cages.

These specific feeds are used within a global program allowing stock farmers to valorise genetic potential of the animals, improving consumption rate and production costs.

The first phase of piglets’ life from birth to weaning and their adaptation to their environment has a great impact on economical profitability of livestock. The quality of this first phase of life has undeniable consequences on skeleton and muscle developments, and therefore on production quality and beginning of breeding.

For poultry, the first week of life determines the whole potential of the animals. OFER range of products brings the answer to the nutritional needs of the animals during this delicate period.

For young cattle, a specific and adapted feed allows to reach the breeding period as soon as possible, and produce a young milking cow with a good udder, without being fat.

For all species, the success of starting period allows a lower feed consumption during the production period and makes a better livestock profitability. The other positive consequence of this feeding method is lower effluents to treat as far as environmental matters are concerned.
